Training with Ariel: Okaloa
Ariel has teamed up with Okaloa to bring you a special training class to learn about business Agility. We are very pleased to announce this training, to be held this October to NYC.
Extending beyond just a single team, Business Agility is the capability to perform effectively in an ever-changing business environment.
We are privileged to have Patrick, the driving creative force behind many of these innovations and the creator of the Okaloa simulation games who is coming to New York all the way from Belgium to show us how it is done.

Okaloa 4-Day Master Class
THIS WORKSHOP will teach you the foundations for scaling regardless of the scaling framework being used. Over four days we will analyze the barriers to scaling Agile practices and reveal highly effective techniques for resolving them. Days one and two prepare you to effectively align and optimize flow across multiple teams. By understanding and recognizing the challenges that are faced upstream and across teams and learning simple yet incredibly effective techniques for managing cross-team dependencies.
Days three and four expand on this knowledge and discuss challenges at the portfolio and strategic level within the Enterprise. We will review effective techniques to balance an ever-varying demand with an ever-varying supply. We will explore organizational liquidity as a measure of how well demand and supply can be matched!
Advancing Agility from Operational Team to Strategic Portfolio level | 2-Day Training
THIS WORKSHOP will teach you the foundations for scaling through its constituent elements. It will help you to understand and recognize the challenges that are faced upstream and across teams. It will prepare you to effectively align and optimize flow across multiple teams. It will teach you simple yet highly effective techniques for managing cross-team dependencies.
This engaging two-day course includes fun simulations to experience “how work works” and where we will demonstrate realistic scenarios involving multiple teams having to coordinate their efforts. We will first simulate the traditional way of working and spend time on what’s happening and why it’s happening. We will then run the simulation again using Kanban coordination techniques. By sharing and discussing the system we get a deeper insight to improve our way of working. You will learn how to apply these techniques to transform your workplace and unlock the power of flow.
